IMPORTANT REMINDERS for the CDPP ESM and TET 2020-2021

THEORETICAL EXAMINATIONS FOR BOTH CDPPs

FRIDAY 02 JULY 2021 AND SATURDAY 03 JULY 2021, ENTIRELY IN DISTANCE LEARNING FORMAT

Conditions to be fulfilled beforehand :

– to be registered for the year 2020-2021 in the corresponding CDPP

– to have validated the e-learning of the corresponding CDPP, on the dedicated website

– to register with our UEMS secretary, Catherine, and to pay the registration fee (for UEMS Brussels) of 200 € (deadline 15 June 2021)

A PREPARATION MEETING will take place on THURSDAY 01 JULY 2021 afternoon, also in distance learning.

The theoretical exam itself will consist of a written part, MCQ (50 questions over 40 minutes) and an oral part based on clinical cases (time for reflection in groups of three, then individual passage with 15 minutes of oral exam).

Due to the health crisis, it is not necessary to have completed all of your practical training to register for the theoretical exam, and the congress points are not required.

The practical training courses can be postponed until December 2021, but we encourage students to complete them as soon as possible, as most of the training centres remain open despite the pandemic.

The theoretical exam is not compulsory, but no UEMS diploma will be delivered if the student does not pass this exam and/or if the practical training is not completed in its entirety before the end of December 2021 (this deadline may be adjusted exceptionally for some foreigners).

ZOOM MEETING ON SATURDAY 24 APRIL 2021

This meeting, which will take place remotely on SATURDAY 24 APRIL 2021 FROM 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm, will deal with practical situations and clinical cases in an interactive way. It is strongly recommended to the French speakers of the 2020-2021 CDPPs as it is dedicated to them. A call will be made by Catherine, please connect 15 minutes before. For English speakers, an English version of the slides will be available on the website.

The links will be sent to you by Catherine 3 days before, in order to check the email addresses, and then will be sent to you again the same morning.

During the meeting, please turn off your microphone, and only turn it on if you wish to speak.

You can still send questions or clinical cases.

Tutors will be present and have helped us to prepare the session.

See you soon,

The teaching team
